Unpublishing, Cancelling, or Rejecting Events

You can manage the status of your events using the options available on the event card. These actions affect whether students can view or participate in the event.


Accessing an Event

  1. Click on Events on the top navigation bar, then select Manage Events.
  2. Identify the event you want to manage.
  3. Click the Gear icon on the event card.

Unpublishing an Event

Unpublishing temporarily removes the event from student view.

  1. Click Unpublish.
  2. The event status will be changed to Pending Approval.
  3. The event will no longer be visible to students.

When you are ready to make the event visible again:
      4. Click Event Approval to republish it.


Cancelling an Event

Cancelling an event permanently ends the event and notifies students.

  1. Click Cancel Event.
  2. Enter the cancellation reason in the free-text box.
  3. Click Cancel to confirm.

All registered students will receive an email notification with the cancellation reason you entered.

Notes

Important: Cancelling an event is permanent and cannot be undone.



Rejecting an Event

Rejecting an event permanently removes it from the platform.

  1. Click Reject Event.
  2. In the confirmation pop-up, click Proceed to Delete.
